Lirodendron tulipifera
The Tuliptree (Liriodendron tulipifera), also known as the Yellow Poplar, is a fast-growing, deciduous tree native to North America. It is known for its tall, straight trunk, distinctive tulip-shaped leaves, and showy, greenish-yellow flowers with orange centers that bloom in late spring. Reaching heights of 70–90 feet or more, it provides excellent shade and turns golden-yellow in fall.
